So July is here! (Happy Fourth, by the way. May democracy survive. May we all put our shoulders against the wheel of tyranny that is turning way too forcefully.)
Congratulations to all teachers for having made it through another AY! I hope you feel satisfied, proud, accomplished, loved and cherished. That’s how we feel about you here at TTE!
And about TTE:
We have successfully rebranded this year, putting out a second season of the podcast I began four years ago with a whole new format! And more great teaching stories! And thought-provoking ideas about education! Thank you, Jullian Androkae, for your expertise and guidance in this major change. Thank you, Joe Johnson, for co-hosting such fun episodes with me. And thank you, Andreea Coscai, for promoting the hell out of this work.
We’re committed to keeping the entertainment coming. Every two weeks this summer (starting next week), we’ll drop guest episodes of podcasts I love. I hope you love them, too.
We’re busy planning Season 3, which will span the entire Academic Year next year with co-hosted story episodes, fascinating interviews, and a few new treats I’ll unveil later in the summer. Stay tuned!
Written blog posts will continue to drop as I write them. So you’ll be getting occasional emails from me throughout the summer, sent with love.
I feel really lucky to have found a means of broadcasting my thoughts and feelings about teaching through emotions, being better, and managing fuckin’ people. Thank you for taking an interest in those thoughts and feelings! It seems like they are needed now more than ever. I try to keep my posts light (I don’t always succeed), but engaging in healthy relationships is serious business. I hope you stay in touch about how you’re doing with it!
And let me know what stuck with you this year from all the TTE stuff you’ve read and listened to! I would love to hear from you.
