"Best of" recognition? TTE just got some.
In which I do a text-based happy dance

Such exciting news! Frank Racioppi of Ear Worthy, a discerning man who reviews independent podcasts in all categories, has selected Teaching through Emotions as one of two best independent podcasts in education for January 2026.
Thank you, Frank Racioppi!
Frank’s Ear Worthy Substack is a go-to guide for all things indie podcasting. He must be a prodigious listener, for he’s constantly reviewing new (and old) podcasts, making recommendations, and writing features about the creative forces behind the mics. He does it for the love of it, I’ve been told, and serves as a super welcome supporter of people like me who need occasional reassurance that, yes, someone out there is listening!
Subscribe to Ear Worthy and return the favor!
Frank based his decision about TTE on his own listening and reviews, other listeners’ feedback, and recommendations from indie podcasters. Though I’ve been podcasting for a few years now and am halfway through Season 3, I still feel like a very naïve newbie, which makes this honor all the more exciting!
Of course, I have a stellar team. Jullian Androkae and Andreea Coscai of PodVision are the best partners I could ever wish for. Joe Johnson is a super-fun co-host. The people who have consented to talk with me about education are brilliant and generous.
And you, dear listener. It’s all for you. Please keep listening! Please share TTE with everyone you know!
And please consider becoming a paid subscriber. Putting out a quality podcast takes time, energy, and money. Your support makes it possible.
And your comments do, too! Hearing from you — your responses, your questions, your experiences — is thrilling. Tell me what you’re thinking in a comment. Or call the TTE hotline at 413.239.4158. I will get back to you!
