Happy New Year!
In which I remind you of a killer subscription deal
Christmas is over, and I hope that those of you who celebrate it, like me, are heaving a huge sigh of relief. What a wonderful time with friends and family! And what chaos! With the New Year, I’ll be getting back on the treadmill and swearing off desserts and adding 20 minutes of meditation to my daily routine. It’s almost like the winter holidays are perfectly situated to set us up for ennobling New Year’s resolutions.
If one of your resolutions includes getting better at managing bewildering emotions or relationships in your work or play, do consider taking advantage of TTE’s end-of-year deal: a wild discount on paid and gift subscriptions! The offer lasts for just two more days (until midnight on December 31st). And, just a heads up: More TTE (and Being Better and Fuckin’ People) content will be paywalled starting in 2026. So, if you don’t to miss a thing, upgrade to paid!
Honestly? I really hate pushing paid subscriptions. I hate self-promotion of all sorts. And I hate paywalling. But the truth is that TTE — the blog and podcast — take time and money to produce. I would love it if TTE could pay for itself! Which means about 250 subscribers at the full subscription price, 500 at the discount price. If you are able and willing to be one of those supporters, I don’t think I could even find the words to express my gratitude to you. Other than the ones I write here every week, from the bottom of my heart, with fervent hope that they will make your life better in even just one interaction with one other human being.
And, if all of us made our own lives better by connecting lovingly with a human being we would otherwise revile or ignore or fear or write off, if all of us could accomplish this just once every day, then the world would be a better place. That’s what TTE is all about. Helping us humans do what we are particularly suited to do: connect with one other lovingly BUT ALSO courageously. Authentically. In ways that cut through the rampant bullshit to mutual transformation.
Hey! There’s a New Year’s resolution for ya! “This year I’m going to cut through the bullshit.”
May I help you with that resolution. May 2026 be a year of healthy growth and mutual transformation. Thank you for reading, listening — and for considering becoming a paid supporter of TTE.
